When buying CBD it is important to be a smart consumer! Don’t just take someone’s word for it. So do you know your CBD is quality? CBD Lab results should be easy to find for you the consumer! Here is what to look for!

3rd party lab results…check for:

• Certificate of Analysis with the DATE (if it’s 3 years old….not a good sign) Many CBD sites claim “lab tested” from one original batch, each batch sold should be tested and easy to find on the site.
• The laboratory is ISO accredited. This means they must hold to highest standards of testing, which is monitored by a governing body.
• Confirmation that the product is free of contaminants: heavy metals, solvents, pesticides or microbial contaminants, such as mold or bacteria should all say PASS or ND (not detected). Many CBD companies are only testing for CBD potency and ALL these things negatively impact your health.
• Actual CBD amounts in the product: if the bottle says 500mg CBD, does the lab test confirm?
• Confirmation that the THC is .03% or less. This keeps it legal and ensures no psychotropic effect.

In addition:

• Is the CBD oil CO2 extracted? Other forms of extraction destroy core molecules and break the CBD down. And other methods are chemical and solvent based.

• Is there a representative of the company and their products that can speak to what to take and why? If you cannot easily call or message someone and get a quick response? Buyer beware.
• Are there fillers in the ingredients? If you cannot see the ingredients can you get the list easily?
